What types of beers do you make?
While we're open to brewing all styles of craft beer, we are focused (and obsessed) with one style in particular: NEIPAs. New England IPAs are a style of beer originating in the United States that are characterized by their haziness, fruity flavor, low bitterness, and fruit juice-like appearance.
What does it mean that your beers are artisanal?
Craft beer is brewed using traditional methods and taking care of every detail of the brewing process. It is characterized by the use of high-quality ingredients and by offering a wide variety of styles, as well as by its creativity and innovation in the search for unique and distinctive flavors. Craft beer is also often linked to the local community and promotes a more personalized and closer beer experience.
To give an example: Imagine the bread you buy at the supermarket vs. the fresh sourdough bread that the baker on the corner makes every day.
What does SOMA mean?
SOMA can have multiple meanings depending on how you look at it:
· In Aldous Huxley's dystopian novel Brave New World (1932), SOMA is a drug used to keep the population happy, functioning as a means of escape from negative emotions and the unpleasant reality of the world.
· SOMA is the divine narcotic of ancient India. Unlike most hallucinogens, which are considered mediators with the divine, SOMA was recognized as a god in its own right.
· SOMA is a Greek word meaning the entire body, including all its physical and biological parts.
· While these meanings complement our brand sense in surprising ways, the truth is that the name was chosen by Ramón (our CEO) because, assertively, he liked the way it sounded.
Do you make vegan beers?
All of our beers are vegan unless the ingredients on the label state otherwise. However, we do not typically use animal-derived ingredients in the brewing of our beers.
Are your beers suitable for coeliacs?
Unfortunately, our beers are not suitable for coeliacs. This is due to the presence of cereals such as barley, oats and wheat in their production. These cereals are essential to achieve the characteristic cloudy appearance and the particular texture that defines our style of beer. We recognise the importance of inclusion and are exploring alternatives to develop gluten-free options in the future, with the commitment to maintain the quality and distinctive flavour that characterises us.
Do you have a taproom or bar?
While we are excited about the idea and hope to make it a reality in the future, we do not currently have our own taproom. Our primary focus is on maintaining and improving the quality of our beer to continue to offer exceptional experiences to our customers.
Where can I find your beers?
To meet the national and international demand for craft beer, we work closely with specialist distributors who handle distribution in the different regions. Our beers, available in cans and kegs, can be found in most bars and shops specialising in craft beer. Given the dynamic nature of our distribution network, we recommend our customers use the Untappd app to locate the nearest and most up-to-date points of sale.
Can I place orders online if I live outside of Spain?
Unfortunately we only ship within the national territory (except the Canary Islands).
I have placed an order online, when will I receive it?
All orders are shipped with a 24-hour service so that you can enjoy your products as soon as possible (except for the Balearic Islands, which are 48 hours).
Under normal circumstances, you should receive your order the day after it is dispatched. However, please note that there may be incidents beyond our control that delay delivery.
Shipments are made from Monday to Thursday, until noon. If you place your order during the weekend or on Thursday after noon, your shipment will be processed the following Monday.
What day of the week do you recommend placing an order online?
Obviously everything will depend on your availability and the urgency of the order, however, Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays are a good day to make your purchase.
On Monday afternoons, we usually announce new references and mixed packs, which will allow you to include the latest in your order. Also, keep in mind that we ship from Monday to Thursday until noon.
